SQUARE DANCE CLASSES
The Swinging Stars will be starting square dance classes this spring (2019). Open house will be held on Thursday, February 21 and Thursday February 28. Come join us to see if you would like to learn this fantastic activity. Square dancing exercises both the body and the mind!

The Swinging Stars are honored to once again salute our veteran's with our annual Veteran's Day theme dance. Come join us on November 9, 2019 and dance with Jimmy Roberson.

NC SQUARE DANCE FEDERATION
The Swinging Stars is a member of the North Carolina Folk, Round, and Square Dance Federation. Their website contains information about square dancing in North Carolina.

STATE CONVENTION
The square dance State Convention is usually held the third weekend in August, starting on Friday afternoon and running through Saturday night. It is also usually held in Raleigh. The State Convention has its own website for information, registration, and hotel registrations. Check out their website for the latest news.
